Only about 700 of those people are victims of building collapses. Many others are lost to the 1,600 fires burning across the region — too many for firefighters to tackle at once."

Oh please, anyone with half a brain could do this. Have you seen the news lately? I could have written the descriptive in my sleep. However, I didn't go to school and get a degree in prognostication. Maybe I should have, then it wouldn't bug me so much. At least weather people go on TV and dress in goofy looking clothes so we can laugh at them before they "predict" the weather. I cannot believe these people get paid to do this for a living. Who else could continue to get paid just for making predictions like this? aaack.
